Track night in America at Sebring International Raceway
The production staff is tentatively planning on attending this event for possibly recording or live streaming participation experience for the team’s channel
I am registered for this event. I will be driving the number 31 ITS Datsun 280Z
We will be recording the event and will post a video so everyone can see how fun and easy it is to attend a track night
yesterday I took the car for a little shakedown run
Just want to give a briefing on how things went. We will have a video up on YouTube shortly with how easy it is to drive on the race track at a SCCA Track Night in America. Thanks to the guys at Wine Country Motor Sports for helping get me a new helmet.
We got three twenty minute sessions between 4pm and 7pm. That was enough track time to wear me out. It was truly a thrill to drive the number 31 ITS Datsun 280Z again, the car is running great and handled phenomenally. By the third session I was sliding the tires in every corner. Sebring has definitely not gotten smoother. Turn 17 is a motocross track and the dip in Turn 1 is insane. What a thrill.
Thanks to all the guys who run the program at Sebring and my buddy Nate with the wicked yellow 911 who walked me thru my first time at a track night… What a Blast!
