Unboxing:

The awning arrived Fed-Ex in a large cardboard box. The frame, custom printed valance, the canvas tote bag and the little wheels for the tote bag were in the box. The wheels for the tote bag snap together easily with no instructions.

I had a helper open the shelter with me the first time. We expanded the frame and draped the cover over the frame and had the shelter up in less then 5 minutes.
It really is easy to set up

The day was a little breezy with gusts 5 - 8 mph. The shelter is study and we left the shelter set up for a couple hours. I personally took it down alone, with the cover attached. I was able to collapse the frame with the cover attached and stow into the tote bag myself.

Initial impressions

I purchased the 10’ x 10’ version.
stated weight is 50 lbs. It is not light-weight but the tote bag has handles and with the wheels it is manageable.
I considered buying the 12’ version but this thing is HUGE! I really am happy and impressed with the quality.

I took this awning to the 2025 12 hours of Sebring. It was super easy to set up and take down all by myself. It provided great protection from the Florida summer sun. The logo on the valance looks great.
It was breezy that week and the awning is heavy enough that it does not really move around much, it flutters in the breeze but stays put. I did strap it to the truck with motorcycle straps. There are rings to hook the straps to in the upper corner brackets.
Overall the awning seems sturdy and well built. It is a well developed product with all the little details thought out. The legs slid easily, the brackets are easy to release with one hand and snap into place. With two people it is up and down in less then 1 minute.
So far the team is thrilled with the new canopy. Great product, Great job EZUP awnings!!! And very economically priced for a quality product.
